To me, this album displays Four Tet's versatility, evolution, and genius. That he decided to create an album that is so different than "There Is Love In You," that he ventured into jungle and rave, all while keeping his signature sound; one that allows the listener to feel and hear beauty. This was ahead of its time and still bangs, which is why he plays many of the tracks in sets, even in 2019. Well done, Mr. Hebden on this rich and rewarding record.

I had the privilege to see Four Tet live in Amsterdam around 2018. I must have missed this album, because it was missing in the other 8 albums I already have. And what a find. Sometimes Four Tet needs some time to appreciate, but this album is very open and friendly.
