I always tell people that recommend me jazz that I don't like jazz, but this album showed me that that is an utter lie. Apparently I love jazz, and this album made me realise it. Evert
Parallel 1 reminds me of life... a journey that is at times blissful, exploratory, and meditative. It's incredible that the artist who created this is the same one who gave us Kool FM and KHLHI and who remixed Opus and A Violent Noise. That versatility might be part of Four Tet's genius, and his longevity due in part to his progression, evolution, talent, and ear for music. Art in sound form, music that feels alive... yet underneath it all is that unmistakable soul. Edward
You don’t often see two titans at the top of their game collaborate, let alone create something that is as good as or greater than their individual works. At times it’s possible to hear elements from each artist, but the real magic is when you have no idea who did what, except contribute to the production of a piece of art that is regarded as a classic.
